According to the National Institutes of Health, Magnesium has been recognized as a cofactor for more than 300 enzymatic reactions. Magnesium deficiency is not uncommon among the general population: its intake has decreased over the years, especially in the Western world.
Early signs of magnesium deficiency are non-specific and include loss of appetite, lethargy, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and weakness. More pronounced magnesium deficiency presents with symptoms of increased neuromuscular excitability such as tremor, carpopedal spasm, muscle cramps, tetany and generalized seizures.
There have even been several studies conducted on transdermal magnesium application with majority of these studies showing a significant increase in the subjects' serum magnesium levels, when used consistently and applied to the sweat gland and hair follicle areas (i.e. armpits, behind the knees, inside of the elbows, etc.).
Now, we know there are lots of transdermal magnesium products on the market with a lot of different additives. With our Magnesium Body Spray, we have combined a high volume of magnesium with the exceptional benefits of essential oils. Sprays come in Lavender, Chamomile, or Eucalyptus.
How To Use: Apply 10-20 sprays per day either on the bottoms of the feet, armpits, behind the knees, the stomach, or inside of the elbows (the bend). Especially useful to apply an hour before bedtime to help have a more restful night. Start slowly to evaluate how your body reacts. Itching/Tingling sensations can occur, especially if you are magnesium deficient. Avoid spraying freshly shaven skin or scratches/sores/wounds as that will increase the chances of itching/tingling sensations.
Disclaimer: Topical use ONLY. Do NOT ingest. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds.
